Join us in celebrating Oriana’s twenty-fifth anniversary season!
Choral music for the year’s end, by Bach, Brahms, and Verdi. We will present James MacMillan’s O Radiant Dawn, and Kirke Mechem’s Island in Space -- a choral setting of the poem written by astronaut Rusty Schweickart upon contemplating the Earth from space during the Apollo 9 Mission in March 1968. Also: carols and motets by Gregor Aichinger, Ola Gjeilo, Libby Larsen, Cecilia McDowall, Claudio Monteverdi, and Philip Stopford.
